What You Need:
- Bible (KJV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, CSB)
- The proper forms of ID (Driver’s License)
- Bedding for a twin bed (may be sheets/blanket or a sleeping bag)
- Pants (many people wear jeans, especially with horses) or knee-length shorts (should come to top of knee when standing)
- Alarm clock of some kind (Cell phones get turned in while campers are present)
- Towels (bath and lake)
- Closed-toed shoes for hiking/activities/work areas
- Sunscreen
- Chapstick
- Evening Service Dress (See Guys’ Dress Guidelines and Ladies’ Dress Guidelines)
- Swimsuit
- Flashlight (other than your phone)
- Over-the-counter medicine that you are likely to need this summer (for headaches, allergies, colds, etc.)
- Pens, Pencils, notebooks for personal study, counseling, taking notes
- A few outfits that you don’t mind getting dirty in. You may have a work project that involves paint, etc.
What You Might Want:
- Quarters for laundry
- Western-style clothes for staff picture and for greeting campers Monday morning
- Sandals or flip-flops
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Hand Soap for your cabin
- Musical Instruments you may use in ministry this summer
- Camera (other than your phone)
- A sweatshirt or jacket (The desert can be unpredictable.)
- A personal water bottle
